Quite a simple premise - you’re chucked into a world in the era of industrialization, but something strange is happening and people are disappearing at a rapid rate. The primary objective is to get to the bottom of the disappearances and for lack of a better term, ‘save the world’.
I’m imagining a few elements of procedural generation for the wasteland/factory landscapes, but the most important part is the theme and mood of the game, which I don’t see used very often. I guess it’s similar to steampunk but without the fancy and exotic machinery. There could be elements of surrealism, but the focus is on a hyper-industrialised world and the realisation of the remnants of humanity within.
